The former farm house from 1863 (space approx. 120 mē) was redone in 1996/97 following historical and ecological guidelines. The historical character has been kept on the in- and outside. It is now an exclusive holiday home for up to 6 people, attractive even through the winter time because of central heating and a sauna.
Through the beautiful old fashioned door you enter the hallway flagged with old Öland-stones. On the right hand you'll find the major bedroom (15mē). A colored ceiling, wooden floor, paneled walls, a 180cm-wide-double bed, extra large coverlets (155 x 220 cm), wardrobe, commode, bedside tables with reading lights give leisurely comfort. Next to it is the large master bathroom with a bath-tub, toilet and washing machine.

On the left side of the hallway is the living room (15mē) which has a wooden floor as well.
Furnished comfortably-elegant with an arm-chair, a huge sofa and a reading-lamp.

In the built-in shelf there are a telephone and fax machine, a satellite-TV set, radio
and a CD-player as well as a large collection of books and games.

In the center of the cottage is the former "Loh" (a small barn, approx. 20mē) and
the kitchen. The rustic wooden kitchen interior has every comfort you'd want, like
Ceran-boiler-plates, a convection oven (with grilling function), dishwasher, microwave-oven,
fridge with freezer compartment, percolator, plenty of dishes and glasses. The highlight is
the open fireplace in the kitchen.

You can have your meals either at the small table in the
kitchen or in the "Loh" at the comfortable bench facing the fireplace. The ideal place
to dine, chat or play.

A bright wooden stairway (childproof secured) leads you to the studio on the second
floor, the largest room of the cottage (approx. 40mē) with it's own shower/bathroom.
Two snugly built-in beds each large enough for a grown-up, two mattresses offer two
extra sleeping-places.

A door in the "Loh" leads you directly to the old barn, where you'll find the sauna,
lawn furniture and firewood for the fireplace. During the
renovation of the cottage the barn still hosted two horses!
Your car can be parked right in front of the house.
On the approx. 600mē large property, lawn and some trees enclosed by a planted "rampart", we have put up a swing and sandbox for the small guests as well as a barbecue and lawn furniture.
